Nourish your body and fuel your creativity with delicious meals. Enjoy an opening dinner at Vanilla Black, one of the London's most innovative vegetarian restaurants. Brunch on avo toast and great coffee at the Holborn Grind or go for the Full English at Hubbard & Bell.

Leave room to take tea. A traditional afternoon tea with silver teapots, fancy stacks of scrumptious delights and all the fanfare at The Delaunay. And champers, oh yes.  

Our farewell meal will take place at Nopi. It will be a feast of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian ingredients and influences. Heavenly!

Find out what “mindfulness” actually means, and how mindfulness can shift your mood and boost your creativity and productivity (without throwing your computer into the bin or meditate on top of a mountain!

Discover how to create a more balanced relationship with technology, so that technology becomes a helpful tool, not a perpetual distraction and energy-drain.

Best of all, we'll explore how to listen to our intuition and reclaim time and headspace for the priorities that truly matter so that you can achieve more in less time, but without burning yourself into the ground. 

CREATIVE EXPERIMENTATION: joy

Whether you consider yourself creative or not, discover the pleasure that comes from doodling, dipping brushes in vibrant ink pots, tearing images out of magazines, folding thick paper, daubing the page with stamps covered in rainbow inkpad.

Enjoy the delight of creative expression without any attachment to it being 'good'. 

No sharing, no judgement - just dipping, stamping, cutting, glueing, dabbing, stippling? Oh! Yum yum yum. Plus, you'll create a tiny book by the end of your retreat, I'll show you how. It will be a memento and manifesto.

Alexandra Franzen is a writer based in Portland, Oregon. She is the author of 3 books and has been featured in over 6 others, including a bestselling guide to launching a creative business

She is going teach you how to create a tiny book. Alex defines this as "a short, self-published project - typically 20 - 70 pages - on any topic that feels meaningful and exciting to you. It could be a collection of true stories for your kids to read when they're older. It could be a family cookbook. It could be a "how to" e-book for your clients." 

Alex loves showing people how to outline their book (and keep it simple!), how to brainstorm book title ideas, create time/space to work on it, and actually get it done!
